If you're a "real" Southerner or even a "wannabe"
Golden's is the place for you. Great food and great atmosphere.
It reminds me of our weekly after church meal when I was a child. There
are very few restaurants like Golden's left. Get to Newnan before
it too is gone!!!

One of the top "meat and threes" in the South. Served
cafeteria style. The chicken breast, fried fish, turkey and
dressing are all wonderful, as are the green beans, field peas
and fried okra. Desserts look great, but I'm always too full
to try one. If you are in Newnan, do not miss Golden's on the
Square.

Good buffet on Sundays. I have had better but this is pretty good
quality for the price. Fried chicken has real homemade taste
but most of the vegetables taste like they came out of a can. Cobblers
and lemon lush is pretty good for dessert. There is always a long
line after church on Sundays but it moves pretty
fast.
