When I was younger, my family had brunch here every Sunday. Every Sunday I would have the German pancake with lemon and powder sugar. They now have restaurants located in several areas, includeing Highland Park and Crystal Lake. I bring my family here for Sunday brunch as much as I can. As well as the german pancakes, they make awsome apple pancakes. Most of the tim there is a wait to be seated, but the wait is well worthit. Very child friendly.

Another North Shore Icon that has expanded to restaurants in Glenview, Lincolnshire, Highland Park, as well as the Hyde Park and Lincoln Park locations In Chicago itself. Tiffany cut-glass decorations provide the ambiance. The Dtch Apple pancakes or the Huge oven-baked omelettes are the must-order items. Be prepared for long 1-2 hour waits on Weekend mornings. I rated this as 4 STARS, because in its category of breakfast food there is no other that does it better in the Chicago area.

They have amazing pancakes here. Everything is good like the dutchbaby's and the belgian waffles. The restaurant can get crouded on weekend mornings so i would suggest going early. The food doesn't take to long to get to you after you order and I would deffinetly suggest the pancakes!
