The best breakfast food around. Walker Bros. was actually rated #1 in a survey of Chicago restaurants. Can be crowded and with reason. Decor is nice (lots of wood and glass), and the apple pancakes (not to mention the omelettes) are fantastic.

If you love breakfast foods, this is the place for you! The main attraction is the apple pancake. It is a large pancake that fills the plate topped with apples and cinnemon sugar. the crepes are also very good.

Good place for some awesome pancakes and waffles in HUGE portions. However, if you happen to be spilled on do not expect to get any thing in return. It could be a high ranked place, but their focus is to get people in and out as quickly as possible, which drastically hurt their service. I down grade it about 1.5 due to the poor service.

I have never been here any time other than for breakfast/brunch. Try to go on a weekday or very early on weekends as the wait is ridiculous (but well worth it). The pancakes are quite possibly the best I've ever had. Try the Apple Pancake or the German Pancake. Omelettes are excellent as well. Very good coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Great place. Very neat and feels like at home. Great smell of maple syrop is in the air. Omelets are great, pancakes are the best. Usually very busy around breakfast and lunch time. But worth the wait.

The food is excellent, but I'm not sure it's really worth the wait. It's way too crowded to go for breakfast or brunch on a weekend. I would really suggest going during off hours. The eggs benedict is very good, and the apple pancake is great if you are in the mood for sweet.
