My husband and I have been here many times. We have tried all
their meals and never been disappointed. One thing I did try and
was very pleasently surprised at, was the lamb! Excellent. We
have never had their desserts, but I have heard they are wonderful.
Who has the room?? The prices are good. They are busy, so there
is usually a 20 minute wait. The wait staff is very friendly,
very good, and we have never had a bad wait person.

Wow, is this place overrated. I had a basic sirloin. I ordered
it medium well and it arrived very well done, to the point of
being dry and chewy. Bleah.
The baked potato was good, but let's face it, you don't have to
be Jaques Pepin to bake a potato and put toppings on it.
The service was fine.
I think the reviewer who compared this place to Hungry Hunter
or Black Angus hit it right on the head. Except for the
cartoonish Australian theme, there is no perceptible difference
between them.

One of the best franchise steakhouses around. I've heard that
even if you don't eat beef, their other food is great too. We tried
the prime rib and were surprised by the relatively larger portion
they give (light to medium eaters should to consider the smallest
cut for sure). We also appreciated that the meal included a very
good Caesar's salad (other steakhouses tend to charge extra).
Be prepared to wait a long while for your table however, and I don't
think they take reservations.

Went on a Saturday night and had a very, very long wait for a
table. Very casual dining. All of our party ordered beef
entrees and were very pleased. The prime rib was excellent,
same for the filet mignon. Also shared shrimp on the barbee
which also was great. Service was OK.

Very good place to go and eat steak and have a beer. Not really a
date place, but more like a place to hang out on friday night before
going out. Love the food, the service and the atmosphere at a reasonable
price.

This is good stuff. The meat is not top quality, but good. And there's
a lot of food. I've never left the place hungry, that's for sure.
Hostesses are gorgeous.

There must be some reason we come here all of the time and put up
with the wait (usually 20 minutes). Sometimes if you wait by the
bar you can snag a booth. The service is always good and the
victorias filet is great! The caesar salad is super too, although
everything is a little too salty but addictive. The fries are
good about half of the time, get the baked potato. Also, if you're
not up for a whole dessert, ask for the cinnamon apples in a
little cup, mmmmm

I was surprised by Outback Steakhouse. The rack of lamb was some
of the best I have tasted(after Fresh Creme in Monterey)
and my filet was very good. When I go back, I will definitely have
the lamb. For the price($50/two-no drinks), it was reasonable.
The dinner included bread, salad and a baked potatoes or veggies. The
potato was good, but the veggies were a bit overcooked.

This place is rather small, with not many tables, so the wait is
too long. The parking is also a problem. The service was quite
efficient, although not quite up to the highest level (for this
kind of place). I enjoyed the quality of the meat, and for a
connoisseur of good old steaks, it is nice to have some variety.
You can taste the difference between the meat here and the other
corporate steak chains, and although I wouldn't say one is better,
I liked this as well as the others and it provided a different
flavor. My kids were also happy here, and the chicken they had
was of very good (adult-level) quality.

Personally, I don't see the attraction, though this place seems
to continue to pack in the crowds. I've given it two tries,
with an long wait for a table in both cases, and both times
at least one member of the party had to return their mis-cooked
steaks (which resulted in a long wait; by the time the steaks were
returned, everyone else was done.
As for the meat itself, it was OK, but nothing special; about
the quality of (say) Black Angus, Charley Brown's, or Hungry
Hunter -- in other words a corporate chain steakhouse, with
service to match.
I might give it a third try if I get dragged off with a group,
but don't see any real reason to return otherwise.
