Great food, fun atmosphere. Definitely worth the extra fifteen minutes
drive from South Bend. The desserts. The desserts. We got in the habit
of asking for them already packaged in a take-home box, because there
really is no way to finish them on site. Plus, there is almost nothing
better than taking bites of cheesecake from the fridge for days afterward!
Cathy V's description of the actual restaurant facilities and
decor are pretty accurate, though the Christmas stuff is more memorable
than the 60s bits.
Once we discovered yesterday's, we ended up there for almost every
special occasion: Valentine's, parent's visits, lunch
with close friends our wedding weekend--it is a unique place for making
unique memories.

the fireplace burning and the feeling is of "Yesterday" and the
family which may have inhabited the home. Decoration is a bit
on the unusual, but adds to the overall charm of this place. Lots
of Christmas ornaments and decor of the 60's invades your senses,
but it isn't at all clumsy or awkward to see, even in the midst of
