The atmosphere is great in the new location, but it can get quite
noisy. The old location was so crowded with tables so close to
each other, that I stopped going, even though the food was great.
So I am quite happy with the change since the food is still great.
My favorites are their wonderful, creamy clam chowder, ahi tuna
- they prepare it right! And their great appetizers like the calamari.
I was just there for lunch last week and had a very yummy salad of
grilled tuna, eggplantand roasted potatoes. Unusual and delicious.
Service is always good.

Tasty seafood but the prices are up there. It's a good place to
meet friends because they have lots of tables, both indoor and
outdoor seating. Great service!

This resturaunt moved across the street from its old location,
and although they now have more room, I liked the old atmosphere
better. The prices are a bit high for what you get, but it's good.

I have been dining at this establishment since it originally
opened in what is now the parking lot of the Borders Books across
the street in Los Gatos's Old Town. It still has the same GREAT
service and they still serve ultra fresh seafood entree's. A
lot of people come for the clam chowder which is exceptional but
for the appetizers I prefer their shrimp cocktail with fresh
avocado and salsa. It's enough for two. Besides the seafood entree's
they make an excellent Peppered Salmon sandwich and a Chicken
and Bacon sandwich that is very flavorfull and also filling.
On occasion as a special they make an awesome Crab sandwich that
is pretty small but has a great taste. Steamers is a Los Gatos icon
and is well worth a visit. I recommend a week night visit for the
first timer since it's usually less busy. For a weekend meal I
highly recommend reservations since they do get pretty busy
especially on Fridays. Their new loaction is well lit, has a very
nice bar and is decorated i ...

I have gone here many times. The clam chowder is the best
and the ahi tuna and blackened snapper are merely excellent.
The atmsophere is friendly and the service has always been
excellent.

This is our favorite haunt for a Friday, after work bash
with all your co-workers. We just occupy a few tables in
the bar area or outside and have appetizers with plenty
of beer for several hours. Try the artichoke hearts in a
lemon caper sauce (unfortunately they aren't on my diet
list now, however I still dream about them!).

The seafood is fresh and interestingly prepared. Definitely try the
ahi tuni, RARE! Bread is also great and the patio dining is fun on a
summer night.

Oysters are good, as with everything else. Sit outside.

The food is good and the prices are high. Service isn't
so good. I like the patio area. Pricey but good wine
list.
