Our entire meal was delightful. I had venison that was done to
perfection. The prime rib was also excellent. I would recommend
everyone try it

THE BEST HAMBURGERS ON THE PLANET. I know, everybody says that
but here it's really true. And part of the reason is that they
raise their own beef (not that many restaurants can say that!)
Cacti is owned by the famous California Harris Ranch, so their
meet is all free-range and top-notch. The hamburgers are half-pound,
come with excellent fries and even more excellent cole-slaw
(for the carb conscious).
Everything's excellent--the filet minion enchiladas
are a favorite, the crab cakes superb, the salmon. And it's
all reasonable, with hamburgers around $8, and dinner entrees
around $15.

The building, an old church, is charming and the chairs unusually
comfortable for restaurant chairs--very wide and well padded.
The servers are always friendly and efficient.

It's ALWAYS a delicious and pleasant experience to eat at
Cacti, and well worth the short trip off the freeway (about a mile

We were pleasantly suprised with this one. Great home cooking
taste and incredible NY steak. The pot roast was pretty good too.
It does get real crowded so call for reservations. Filet mignon
enchiladas were so-so but everything else we've tried was a winner.

My food was gone in a flash! I was tempted to order
another plate. Everything was good, down to the
vegetables. The patio was nice and toasty. And our
waiter was an alright kinda guy. (This is my hubbie
talking - but I do agree with him 100%!)

Great grilled food with a taste of the southwest...mesquite, peppers,
lime. You can sit at the bar, watch people and order one of their
great appetizers and a caesar salad, drink a glass of wine and linger
if you want. We think it's fun to make a night of this...or if you
prefer, go for the whole meal and sit on the heated patio. The main
dining room has great atmosphere but it gets noisy due to the "grand
room" renovation of an old church.
