This is a classic New England restaurant with decor and a menu
that reminds me of my childhood. I had Welsh Rarebit for lunch
there one time. When is the last time you saw that on a menu? It was
just like the dish my Mom made for us in the 50's.
A second trip there for dinner was also fun with good seafood entrees
and a nice roast duck for me. Service was good, but a little slow
paced. The old wallpaper and decor remind me of dinner at grandma's
house. Not a bad thing actually. The dim lighting and hushed tone
in here can be romantic on the right occasion.
