King Salmon was absolutely fantastic. Certainly nothing thrilling.
This is a very good restaurant!

We were in Anchorage for 3 days and two of those days we ate at Phyllis's
-- ambience is nothing much -- service was so-so. But we enjoyed sitting
outside and people watching and the King Salmon was absolutely fantastic.
Would love to get that secret sauce recipe -- I promise to keep it only
for myself!

Arrgghhh! The tourists....they're EVERYWHERE!

Really though, if you need a place to take the out of town visitors
for some halibut, salmon, or even crab, this is a good bet. It's
not fancy, but eating crab should be a messy experience.

Need a place to take your out-of state guests for some fresh salmon?
This is the place! It's not fancy, but the fish is great and
the atmosphere fun.

This is not a fancy restaurant and yes they do not have enough staff.
However, the food is good and the seafood is fresh. The atmosphere
is wonderful - weather you are sitting inside or out. I would recommend
the crab or the salmon and the sourdough bread is great. Come with
the attitude you are in Europe and this is time to savour your food
- the wait is worth it. If you are in a rush you will be disappointed.

price range varies depending on what u get. they have fresh fish
of all sorts ALWAYS it seems like. this place is the best resturant
in the downtown vecinity in my own personal opinion. the halibut
with lemon sauce is devine. and the clame chowerr in a sour dough
bread bowl is just as suculent.
