Well I've never had a burned burger here. The fries are uniquely cooked and seasoned. Not to shabby but still one of the worst places to eat - health wise. Ranks up there with the Varsity but I give this one a little better health rating. At least the grease doesn't drip out like a running tap.

Great burger for price. Facilities don't appear to be very clean and I haven't seen a sanitation grade, but if you want a quick burger with great fries, make a stop.

Hey, a drive thru for a fresh hamburger (can you even spell gut bomb?). Checkers is a pretty fair place, but very popular about the time that all of the bars along Atlanta Highway start to close. Not too bad, not too good, but when you are hungry they can fit the bill and they try to keep up with the much more established Athen's Varsity...
