Mosebys makes an attempt at bringing big city cuisine to a small town. The atmosphere is quite pleasant with a civil war motif. There is ample seating with a newly added banquet room. There is a small lounge in the rear of the restaurant that serves beer, wine and spirits. The wine selection is varied and, for the most part, reasonably priced. Spirit and beer selections are excellent. The bartenders do pour a healthy drink and are attentive. Food is served both in the restaurant and the lounge, for those who want to watch the large screen TV sports. I have tried a number of entrees at Mosebys. The steaks are good as is all the seafood. Try the pasta for a refreshing change. The appetizers are generous and tasty, and just right for snacking in the lounge. While tasty, they are not crabcakes. The shrimp cocktail is quite good, with large deveined shrimp. Try the seafood buffet on the weekends, there is plenty of variety and it is well worth the price.
