This is the best Mexican food in the Reno-Sparks area right now (9/2008)!
Mexican restaurants are one of my favorite types, so I try a lot of them
and this one is consistently the best. Lunch specials are only $6.25
Mon-Fri till 4PM, and they are the same size as the regular entrees.
The staff is very nice, the salsa is quite good, and the food is excellent.

I try to make it back when I'm in reno. If the group I'm with is for
mexican cuisine, this is my choice. The waitstaff is fun and I
like the margaritas there. They also have a better selection
of beers than their competitors. They say you can tell good mexican
food by tasting the enchiladas.....at los compadres they have
a dynamite recipe. They have turned the basic into the complex.
The atmosphere isn't bad either.

have the old chef from micasa, and many of the waiters who still
remebered my order after 7 years.good food friendly atmosphere.
gotta give it a shot, salsa is muy caliente'
