One of Albuquerque's best kept secrets. This unimposing little
Italian restaurant in the heights has been there for years, and yet
it always manages to serve great food. Skip the chains (Carraba's,
Macaroni Grill) and enjoy real Italian food here!

In 1975, Joseph Camuglia opened this restaurant, and the family
has been spreading fine Italian food over fresh, homemade pasta
ever since. The homemade pasta is the best. The Alfredo is the
smoothest you will encounter and the pesto is oily, spicy and
heavy, as it should be. The linguini in clam sauce ($12) is filling
and savory. Spaghetti marinara goes for $7, with boulder-like
meatballs running about a buck each. In all dishes, fresh herbs
dominate the senses and create a melding of flavors that reveal
the expertise in the kitchen.

Great ambiance, although the tables can be a little close together.
Service is wonderful. Food is great - although I normally don't
order off the menu - usually have the special. Great blue cheese
dressing. They are in the entertainment book so you get a great
value using the coupon. Good for lunch too!! My husband loves
the fettucine alfredo with mushrooms. The seafood fettucine
was a little too seafoody.
