Had a pretty good lunch here; service was okay, food was pretty good, and I liked the salsa quite a bit. Seems to get pretty busy on occasion.

great cheap place to eat. they dont hold back on the toppings either so that is a pleasant surprise among alot of other cheap eateries that hold backon toppings for your food.

My wifes favorite for years. I hated mexican food before I married my wife now we eat mexican at least once a week. La Frontera is one of our favorite choices. My wife is addicted to their smothered sauce and will order smothered rice which is $3.00 and she still has trouble eating it all they give such a healthy portion. I like their order of 2 smothered burritos with cheese for $8.00 and can barely finish half but love to finish it up at work the next day.

My kids all eat $3 kids meals that are almost as big as the adult meals but include a drink. We usually leave with tip around $25 or less for 5 people. Highly recommend La Frontera. Especially if you are one for smothered sauce.

They would get 5 stars if they would expand to fresh salsa. The fire they offer is lacking. The smothered burritos are great!

La Frontera is one of the best mexican food restruants I've been to. They have a nice atmosphere and good food for the price. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates good mexican food.

La Frontera is the best mexican food in Utah. It has always been a personal favorite of mine. The smothered burritos are great, and if you like onions the enchilada's are always great. The value is superb, and the atmosphere is usually decent. If you like 'real' mexican food this is the place to go, if you like the northern influence however try elsewhere (i.e. Chevys).

Definatly great value for the money! I love their combo platers. Worth the wait if you have a little time to burn. (no pun intended)

This Mexican restaraunt reflects the Northern Mexican influence. The food is excellent and you receive hordes of food for the cost.

Food is good, but the service is poor. If you come in at lunch be prepared to go back to work late. 20 minutes to have order taken then 30 to 45 minutes to have order served. It doesn't get much better at other times of the day.

This Mexican restaraunt reflects the Northern Mexican influence. The food is excellent and you receive hordes of food for the cost. You know you're in a real Mexican restraunt when they speak Spanish. The waiters/waitresses are bilingual and are dressed in traditional Mexican attire (to a certain extent). The food is excellent and always comes from the kitchen hot. Here you can find such things from Chile Relleno to Cheeseburgers (outstanding french fries!). Chips and salsa are complementary while you wait, but be sure not to put loads of salsa on, its enough to burn off the common gringo's tongue and should be handled by trained professional salsa eaters. Service is quick and professional and always happy. It can become extremely busy around 12:00 and from 6:30 to 8:00 so designate a good time to stop in.
