This place opened a number of years ago, as the successor to the
Peidmont Inn. The food is firsdt rate, as is the service. It isn't
particularly well handled to suit the handicapped, but if you
can manage about ten steps, you emerge into a beautiful wood pannelled
bar with chairs and sofas at the cocktail tables, high backed
stools at the bar, and generous sized drinks averaging $5.00
each. It's still open, busy, and reservations are suggested.
