El Cid has delicious food, great service, humungous portions, and a wonderful atmosphere. It's one of the few wonderful Spain-Spanish restaurants in the area. The prices are reasonable too. El Cid is great for lunch or dinner. If you are very hungry for some Spanish food, then El Cid is a must. It has everything, from steak to seafood.

This place is excellent! The food is superb. It is definitely Spanish rather than Mexican. They offer a wide verity of dishes. The food and it's presentation are delightful. The service is right along with the rest.

El Cid (Paramus, NJ) is not only a bargin, but the food is excellent. When in Norther NJ it is one of my favorite places to go. However, I would not classify the food as Mexican. It is Spanish. The mussels in rec sauce is fabulous and the lobster prices are very low. The make home made potato chips that are wonderful. They also offer red and white sangria by the glass or pitchers. The only drawback to this restaurant is: they do not have a vegetarian only dish. So, if you do not eat meat or fish this restaurant would not be a good choice.
