A great sushi and Japanese restaurant. Rooms are available and the sushi is pristine. Highly recommended.

The complete package of Japanese Cuisine in Baton Rouge. Great Sushi, but also great Hibatchi and Tempura. All in all a must if you like Japanese food in Baton Rouge.

Komado's brings together all the best elements of the Japanese culture. Great decor, outstanding sushi, incredible service. Even the price is reasonable. If you like sushi or are considering trying it for a first time, go here.

The food is excellent, plus the Hibachi tables let those who need their seafood cooked can do just that (plus thinly sliced steak too!), There are many types of sushi and sashimi available plus cooked entrees for the uninitiated. Japanese beer is available as well as domestic and the usual imports. Sake (rice wine - be careful, it's potent) is available either hot or cold. My favorite sushi is the Tempura roll and Soft-Shell Crab roll. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. For a touch of the exotic, try the baby Octopus (broiled), five stars alone for this!

Keep in mind this review is coming from someone who does not like sushi. Went for lunch and was immediately greeted with the smell of raw fish as I entered the door.. that was strike one. Ordered a chicken dish.. chicken was bland and tasted like it had been microwaved. The smell of the fish was enough to drive me away. Friends dishes, beef and tampura were also not good.

WONDERFUL!!! The very best sushi in Baton Rouge. No other place comes close.

Individual sushi rolls are about three dollars (for eight rolls), so it can get pricey if you're like me - always hungry!
