GREAT RIB-EYE STEAK WITH MASHED POTATOS, VEGGIES & SALAD. THE FRENCH BREAD IS ALRIGHT, BUT IF THEY HAD MARKET BROILER BREAD IT WOULD BE GREAT. THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSE BY OUR HOME SO WHEN I DON'T FEEL LIKE COOKING I CALL IN MY ORDER AND IT'S ALL READY WHEN I GET THERE. :) LINDA

I had to update my review since I recently tried the prime rib they serve on Friday and Saturday. For less than $15, you get a 12 oz flavorful serving of prime rib with soup or salad with fresh veggies and baked potato (other choices for sides available). I was pleasantly surprised at the tenderness of the prime rib and the flavor. You will also not be disappointed by the salad which has a variety of greens with cucumbers and tomatoes unlike other places that give you a pile of iceberg and call that a salad. Give their homemade Greek dressing a try while you are at it. I also quite enjoy their cream of broccoli soup when they have it. Also, you must have breakfast here. Their portions are generous and much more than you can finish. If you can, take advantage of the weekday breakfast specials.

Great little eatery that is worth every penny. YOu will feel like one of the guys at this place. All of brookside is this way. Best option is to go down on a nice night and window shop before going to a great little dinner

Lots of food for inexpensive prices. Food is good...nothing super special. Who really expects that at a place like this? I come here when I have a hankering for American fare with plenty to eat. I like to come here for breakfast. I am usually so stuffed I can hardly eat dinner and always end up skipping lunch. Try the roast chicken...you get a whole half chicken that is both flavorful and tender.
