This is the best restaurant in the area. They have everything that a person could want, plus most of the produce is local and organic. The steak is AWESOME! Folie Douce has high quality food and the menu changes seasonally. Their wine list is also amazing for the size of the restaurant.

Other than the uncomfortable seating, small cramped atmosphere, and over priced food, it is a great place to not want to return to. The food was great.

Outsatanding little place in Arcata and is probably the best this entire area has to offer. My only qualms are the over priced menu items. Just be prepared to fork out a lot of mula to eat here. The duck is excellent, the desserts are grand, and the atmosphere is quaint and intimate. Don't go anywhere else for a fine dining experience.

Reservations are necessary. Very tiny restaurant and fairly expensive. Dim setting and local art on the walls. Be prepared to try new types of food. Vegetarian is available, and so is pizza for a predictable meal. Excellent white chocolate creme broulee
