Don jose really stood out to me for two reasons. A- The service was lightning fast, with a nice intelligable waiter. B- The food had amazing portion sizes (sometimes one meal was enough to feed 2) C- The quality of the food was great! Right away we were seated , brought chips and salsa and water, and had our drink orders taken. The chips were homemade and still warm, they delievered 2 salsa one a more red, chunky mild salsa, and a more ground green spicier salsa. Both were great, I had to consciously get myself to stop eating them before the meal. I ordered the carne asada taco meal, which came with 2 fully loaded tacos double wrapped in corn tortillas, it came with rice and beans, and the presentation was great. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

This is a decent place and tend to have the same quality food at every place. They have the best salsa known in existance! If you go there, be sure to order a few extra bowls of it. The price is cheap and the mexican food is filling.

Food is ALWAYS GREAT! Very fast service. We always seem to get our food before we have our second sip of our drink. Its that fast. The food servers are always very friendly including the Manager and the hostess's. And the bus boys exspecially one thats been there along time is extremely fast and efficient. I beleive the only reason he hasn't been promoted is because he probably dosen't speak English. Overall I highly recommend Don Jose's. You'll enjoy great food fast service and friendly employees. We drive from Anaheim just to eat there.

Excellent quality food, outstanding salsa, good service, plenty of parking and convenient. I would rate it 5 stars except the menu is fairly limited. This is a great place to bring the family. A little noisy at times, but well worth a visit.

Another chain of Mexican restaurants. They are very consistant from location to location. They are clean, the food is very excellent, and the service is always good. I would rate them higher if they would have a better selection on their menu, it is really limited. But they have the best salsa in the area. A good family restaurant.
