Genmai represents good quality and a somewhat unique presentation. Clientele is often a bit on the yuppie Hollywood industry side, but pleasant. Masago and shrimp sushi items were as good as any I have had anywhere else. This place is on par with some of the better sushi places in the Valley. It is not spectacular, but it is still quite good.

A bit pricey, but still a good Neo Asian-Fusion Sushi and Japanese Food restaurant, located near the Van Nuys theaters near Van Nuys Blvd and the Ventura Freeway (US 101). Seafood is fresh and there is a very good variety to choose from.
