This is THE Italian restuarant to go to in Kailua. The prices are lower, the portions more generous, the food tastier than Assaggio's. To top that off, the atmosphere is more relaxed, condusive to really visiting with your dinner partner. Friendly wait help rounds out a nice dining experience at a reasonable cost. We enjoyed their unusual but delicious "okinawa sweet potatoe chowder" before our meal. And I couldn't resist trying their bread pudding for dessert. I wish I had, only for the simple reason that I would have preferred to have continued under the delusion that I make the best bread pudding in the world! (smile) It was a HUGE portion, which could have easily fed 4 people. As full as I was, it was so exquisite that I couldn't help but overeat.....swooning with every bite! I'm looking forward to my anniversary in Aug. to have an excuse to go back and be a bad girl once again. LOL less
