The further south you get, the lesser your chance to find a diner.
The Waffle House is as close as you get...always open, serving
mostly breakfast fare. It's not bad, particulary the hash
browns, that are made to order.

Terrific thin waffles are the attraction at this breakfast chain,
which has the fastest service I have ever experienced. Friendly,
knowlegable staff. Very popular with tourists.
