All Vegan, very healthy entrees, many of which are such impressive meat alternatives that one could not tell the difference unless it was specifically pointed out. The main attraction to this restraunt is it's buffet from 11:30 to 2:30 @ $5.80, which includes free hot tea (again encouraging health of it's customers). Entree's are higher priced than I tend to want to pay, but found that there was enough food for two people to share. Overall very healthy, quite tasty food with reasonably reasonable prices in a quaint, almost diner, atmosphere. A must for vegetarians in Richardson, and a healthy enjoyable alternative for meat-eaters. less

The Veggie Garden isn't your average vegetarian spot. No animal products are on the premises at all; that includes egg and dairy foods. But they do a strange about-face here that raises a few ethical questions among some strict vegetarians: they offer an array of soy or textured vegetable protein "analogs": imitation beef, chicken, pork, shrimp and fish (even squid, complete with fake suckers and stuff!). less
