Great -- AbSoLUtely the BEST chili dawgZ you will find on this planet, and maybe the Universe! The Varsity was one of my favorite places to eat in Hot'Lanta whenever I was there. I almost always got two chili dogs (or one "Heavy Dawg" -- that's one hot dog and TWICE the chili) "all the way" and added ketchup and red/cayenne pepper, onion rings, and an F.O. (frosted orange) or a couple of P.C(s). (plain chocolate milk over shaved ice). I have come to know that it is much easier to eat this meal while sitting at one of their tables in one of their many TV rooms. It is MUCH harder to eat this while driving home -- MUCH! One very memorable time, I took a "first date" to The Varsity. I met three of my friends who were already there. As I was standing in line, some person kinda pushed my back. I was about to turn around and give them "what for" when I saw Mom with the silliest grin on her face. Of course, I didn't give her "what for" -- just a simple hug from her only child. The Varsity always brings back many fond memories like that one and the more times I go back, the more memories I make. less
