Good quality, solid food, but the flavor is a thousand miles North of Mexico! I'm guessing that the people that raved about this place really don't like Mexican or spicey food. The two times I was here, I asked for some hot sauce (Tapatio, Patio, etc.), but they said they did not have any!! Instead, they bought me some salsa that of courese had no heat to it. If you're out with your grandfolks or the children go here. If not, there are a thopusand better places. less

It was the best mexican food that I have ever eaten! THey have a pretty good variety of things to choose from as well, all that I have tryed have been excellent! Also they have a bar connected if you may enjoy that setting as well. Very classy, comfortable place to eat! less

I would say it is average as far as mexican food and mexican restaurants in general go, but we believe in giving a fair chance so we returned on our own...it still was nothing to make THAT big a deal over...average. Tip: if you have infant(s) in car seat(s) like we did (twins) there is not really anywhere to fit the car seats near you...just go ahead and get the babies their own table...haha. less

On the recommendation of a friend, I brought a few guests from out of town to this restaurant. We were seated quickly after being directed to the lounge for a 30 minute wait. The servers rushed about and seemed to trip over each other often due to a layout with many blind corners and narrow passages. You forget that you are in a strip mall with the dim lighting and interior construction. We were lucky enough to be seated along the wall opposite the kitchen (there is no sound insulation in this wall) so we were able to enjoy the chatter of the kitchen staff. The food was fresh and hot, but lacked the one thing I adore in Mexican cooking, FLAVOR. I ordered a shrimp fajita and received three or four large shrimp with the tail on, three wraps, and some diced tomatoes, along with rice and beans. The shrimp were marinated in boiling water if I had to guess. The server was very good and fairly attentive. I guess the lesson I got from this experience is, "don't put too much faith in the recommendations of someone who thinks Jack in the box makes the best tacos." I'd rate this one a pass, but check back, I don't think any place should be given only one chance, if they'd clean up their act Valle Luna could be a gem. I only hope they visit Dine.com less

I wouldwouldnot take my family there since it is so crowded and too much smoke smell. less
