This Place has been here for sometime now, the service is great, the People are so attentive and the ambience is more of an upscale Chinese Restaurant The People working here are all dressed up. The owner knows you by heart And even remembers you voice on the phone. This is just our second home whenever We’re so lazy to cook, we call in and the food is ready in 15-20 minutes Good for dinner dates because the place is very clean and classy. The tables and everything around you looks like an expensive Restaurant, well the price is a little bit Higher compare to typical Asian Restaurant. But im telling you my friend, the food here is one of the best in Bay Area and the presentation alone will make you so hungry, that’s what I said this place is good for, Dinner Dates, Birthdays, Weddings, Business meetings take out, everything, if you want to impress somebody, and this is the place. That turned me off, but I gave it another try about a year or so later and got horribly ill from the egg rolls. So, that's Uncle Chung's story. I won't be eating there again. less

I live in Pinole and occasionally frequent Uncle Chung's Szechuan. It's good although a tad pricier than what you'll find in SF, where good cheap Chinese food is in abundance. For a quick fix, however, it does the job. I'm Chinese so I know decent Chinese food! I really like their General Tsou's chicken , "10 ingredient fried rice" and their sizzling rice seafood dish . The atmosphere is very nice and service is always very courteous . less

The food is always first rate. The weekly lunch specials are a great bargain, served fast, and delicious. They serve their customers. Special orders have never been a problem. They know your first name and seem truly glad to see you. less
