I am returning to Twelve Oaks tonight to celebrate Valentines, this is the first restaurant that my husband and I equally love! The steaks are so tender you can cut with a fork. The staff treats you as if you are the most important person on this Earth. The landscape and scenary is amazing! I rarely am able to relaxe and enjoy a meal in public, this has become our special intimate dining choice. We have found ourselves looking towards the next special occasion, holiday, and excuse to dine here! less

This establishment is set in the peaceful countryside of northeast Edmond surrounded by trees and large farms. The restaurant is located in a home built in 1895 which was orginally in Guthrie before being brought to its current location several years ago. The view from the dining room at sunset is sensational. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was flavorful and featured some of the best cocktail sauce that I've had in quite some time. Our caesar salads were good but could have used a bit more dressing. For our entrees, I chose the lamb chops while my partner enjoyed the quail. Each was expertly prepared. The finish was not as strong. The raspberry cheesecake dessert was just average. My partner is an avid coffee drinker and gave the brewed java a thumbs down. Twelve Oaks has been one of the premier restaurants in the Oklahoma City area for a few years. They serve from a broad menu. The steak and lobster is some of the best anywhere in the U.S. The staff at Twelve Oaks is second to none and treat all who enter like they never want them to leave. There is a quiet ambiance and plenty of space between tables which all goes to make this restaurant one of the best special occasion places going. It is located about 8 to 10 miles north of OKC out in the country on a hill that overlooks majestic Oklahoma scenery and is well worth the short drive. less
