I placed an order at lunch time two days ago because I had heard that the food was good. Let me tell you-- IT WAS TERRIBLE AND OVERPRICED!! I paid $10.60 for a dinner size portion of Pad Thai with Tofu! I had to order the dinner size b/c they don't have a lunch size portion with tofu- they only have chicken or beef Pad Thai for lunch. So I paid $10.60 and when I got home the noodles looked terrible and the only vegetable in the noodles was BROCCOLI!!! and there were no peanuts, no scrambled egg, no LIME! the noodles were super greasy and had almost no flavor.... and can someone please tell me since when does Pad Thai have BROCCOLI!! it was outrageous! the food was terrible and I wasted my money... well, at least the dogs ate some of it. I would say to you all-- don't go to Tuptim, if you want good Thai food, there are other places in Ann Arbor. And next time I want Pad Thai for lunch, I'll go to Noodles & Co, at least there the food is decent, even if not totally authentic. less

I go to Tuptim often and they have the best Thai food in the Ann Arbor area. Contrary to other reviews the service is wonderful. They always accommodate my requests. I have never had a problem and the staff knows me by name and even what I usually ... more

I go to Tuptim often and they have the best Thai food in the Ann Arbor area. Contrary to other reviews the service is wonderful. They always accommodate my requests. I have never had a problem and the staff knows me by name and even what I usually order. One time I needed some ingredients for a Thai dish I was making and I went in and asked them for them. They gave them to me for free and were happy to help. Frankly, I wouldn't go anywhere else for Thai food. I have been to every one of the area Thai establishments and I can tell you this one is the best. Do not waste your time anywhere else. less

The food is wonderful but the service is horrid. Waited 40 minutes for water at lunch and the food never came ended up leaving. We gave it another try 6 months later and it was almost as bad. I asked for Peanut sauce on the side and the waiter was very upset and got the manager who was very rude when he told me they would not do that. This restaurant is in a converted Long John Silvers restaurant and it is thriving. However the long lines snaking out the door and the open and loud atmostphere combined with the service make this a pass up place at best. less
