I have eaten at a number of Tony Roma?s around California, but this is one of my favorites. I really love good beef ribs and these are my favorites. The Tony Roma's in Pleasant Hill is much closer, but this one is enough better, that we make the drive. We never go on Friday or Saturday night any more because they are so rushed the food and service suffer. This place does great ribs (we get the bountiful beef), a fine baked potato, good cole slaw, and a tasty Greek salad. The stakes good, but are better elsewhere (Outback). The atmosphere is pleasant and good for families. The service is generally quite excellent. I once asked my waiter at a newly opened Tony Roma?s why, wherever I go, the service at Tony Roma?s seems superior to other local restaurants. They said the chain put a premium on good servers and trains them well. It shows. less
