This must be the best breakfast/brunch place on the Peninsula. Their coffeecake is to die for. Brunch offerings include a basket of fresh-baked breads & muffins, and fresh fruit garnish. My favorite dishes are the Florentine scramble (spinach, sausage, & cream cheese) and Southwestern quiche with salad. Good caf & decaf coffee-of-the-day, fresh oj, tasty potatoes, decent kid's menu.The lunch menu adds sandwiches, home-made soup, and wonderful desserts.The atmosphere is wonderful. The restaurant is an old Victorian house, beautifully decorated. There is a main room and three smaller rooms. During good weather, you can also dine outside in the beautiful landscaped garden or on the porch overlooking it. If you have kids, there's room for them to wander around while you finish your meal.If you go for weekend brunch, it starts getting crowded around 11:00. less
