Unpretentious, plates heaped full of pasta and other ethnic treats -- the only thing missing is the doting grandmother casting a disdainful glance at anyone not joining the clean-plate club (for those whose eyes are bigger than their stomachs, to-go containers are available). <br> Lunch or dinner at the Olive Tree affords visitors a chance to escape, albeit briefly, to Italy -- for a quick bite or an elaborate sit-down -- without forking over too much lire. Spaghetti, rigatoni, ravioli, tortellini, penne and fettuccini are among the pasta offerings, with baked manicotti, stuffed shells, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna enticing diners to "mangia, mangia!" The Olive Tree integrates seafood into its tour of regional cuisines, offering garlicky scampi, creamy broccoli-laden Milano and spicy fra diavolo varieties, as well as seafood Antonio (lobster tail and linguini), shrimp and scallops Luciano in a white wine sauce and seafood fettuccini featuring lump crabmeat. We love this place!! The salads are huge and the vegetables are so fresh and crisp. The seafood dishes are our favorite, but we like the italian dishes alot as well. You can not order anything you won't like here. We drive from Washington, DC to eat at The Olive Tree and don't patronize the other "Olive" place anymore. less

Very nice restaurant with reasonable prices for good italian food. Has higher quality food than the restaurant with a similar name "Olive Garden". Most of the items here are $10-15 with some seafood entrees going up to the upper teens a ... more

Very nice restaurant with reasonable prices for good italian food. Has higher quality food than the restaurant with a similar name "Olive Garden". Most of the items here are $10-15 with some seafood entrees going up to the upper teens and low 20's. Specials tend to be overpriced. The salad is very good, and in what has been common at many italian restaurants you can get all you can eat bread and salad with dinner. Desserts are very good also here. One word of warning, even with reservations this place will sometimes make you wait over a half hour AFTER your reservation time to be seated. less
