I understand why people like The Melting Pot - it's fun to cook all your food at the table together. That's why they call it FUNdue. <br> However, in my opinion, The Melting Pot is smoke and mirrors. The ambience is nice, the built-in table burner is cool, the waitstaff is good-looking...BUT, you are essentially paying for raw uncooked vegtables and meats and some sauces to put on them. It's very expensive too...every time the bill has come when I have eaten there, at least one person in our group thought there was an error. How could it be $300 for 4 people? <br> The menu basically pushes you to order a three course fondue dinner with cheese, meat, and dessert fondue. People: it's melted cheese/bread, broth + meat/veggies, and melted chocolate. It's not worth $50 per/person. Buy a fondue pot and do it at home...you'll save money and have more fun. I promise. less

There are many different sauces to dip your food in, and they cook your meats and vegetables just how you order them. You have to try it. less
