In the larger group, you'll also get a better variety of fondue. We always say next time we'll just go for appetizers and dessert, but end up ordering an entree. The wait staff is always attentive and they will do special things for you, like having fresh flowers on the table for your sweety, if you ask in advance. less

If its your anniversary and you dont' mind spending $30 a head on dinner then Melting pot is the place for you. We went there exclusively for the dessert so I cant' comment on the dinner. But from the menu it looked pretty pricy. The dessert however was out of this world. I highly recommend the ying-yang. It has a couple of different varieties of chocolate which make up the fondue. Best of all you can make your own fondue with a wide choice of items including hazelnuts, raisins etc. You also get to choose the chocolate. The atmopshere is great and the booths are very comfy. Perfect place for a first date. less

Always a nice setting for a private romantic date. But an even better place to have an unusual cheap date too. You can sit in the restaurant, or you can sit at the bar. If you sit at the bar you can get a drink or two as well as an appetizer and dessert. Honestly, a appetizer (cheese fondue) and a dessert (chocolate fondue) will be all that you need to stuff your belly. And while not as romantic as sitting in the actual restaurant area, it's still a nice setting. Furthermore, it's right downtown, so you can have save your romance for after dinner and have a walk by the river...or just walk into a club! less
