You've not had seafood chowder until you've had it at The Haven. It's quite possibly the best you'll ever have. And it's just one of a broad and wonderfully eclectic selection of dishes this charming little bistro has to offer. If you make it out to Vinalhaven at some point in your life, be sure to time it with dinner at this little gem. Reservations suggested for the two dinner seatings each night during tourist season (May thru Oct?), but it's first-come first-served on the two nights a week (Fri and Sat) they're open during low season. Decent wine selection. less
