This is really a basic little eatery, in a basic little nasty cantina style place. Some old local guy is married to a younger Thai woman who happens to know how to cook well, add to that a couple of other workers and voila. My father took me to this place after telling them about me, and when I came she gave me a hug.. The soup is good and the food very nice for an otherwise scuzzy area of town. A nice touch: they often have specialties that they come around to your table and ask you to try. But, beware! as they will then tack an additional $5 onto your bill. Westerners tend to hate this otherwise eastern practice, of the billpayer being an esteemed hero, not a chump, but I guess Lima has yet to catch onto it. Good place. Nice People. Try it. less
