I have eaten here so many times I can't count. I have been to Thailand, and eating here is like eating on the streets of Thailand. They have a great HEAT numbering system for how hot do you want your food. I like "7-8". They have the freshes sushi. They have a really have a great patio for the warm months. Try the coconut soup!! And you can never go wrong with the Pad Thai. mmmmm I am drueling just writing this review. less

Teak is not your traditional Thai restaurant. They have the requisite Pad Thai, but most of the dishes tend toward the traditional Chinese side and they feature a sushi bar, a staple of Japanese restaurants. The restarant is located in Mount Adams, and while parking is a hassle, it's worth the trip. When the weather's good, sit outside in their patio courtyard for a quaint experience. All dishes at Teak can be cooked to your specifications in terms of spiciness. The scale goes from 0 to 10. While I like my food spicy, I usually only order it up to 9, because ordering a 10 might make the chef want to challenge your taste buds. Dishes are presented on rectangular plates, with two baseball-sized mounds of rice accompanying stir fries. The ingredients are always fresh. My Pepper Garlic Beef featured sliced pieces of beef, peas, diced carrots, and broccoli so fresh that it seems that they picked it that day. Wash down your meal with a Kirin beer, which they have on tap, and you have a good Thai experience. less
