This is our family favorite in the genre of simply-delicious Mexican food at bargain prices. There's no "atmosphere" except that half the diners are speaking Spanish, and there's an outdoor patio area. You won't impress your date here, but do drop by with a casual friend for a quick meal. The food's as good, in my opinion, as at the fancier places. I even chose this for my birthday meal one year. Delicious, authentic food at south-of-the-border prices. Quick & easy, and I always leave full & happy. We order a la carte, and I usually love a couple $3 tacos (al pastor, res, carne asada, etc) and a chili relleno. The kids get a big burrito for maybe $4 and take two days to finish it. The horchata is good to drink--not overly sweet. less
