This is a jewel of a restaurant located in a small shopping plaza. Having sampled many dishes in this fine establishment it's difficult to choose "a best". The atmosphere is very friendly and the service excellent. Diners begin with a ceramic mug of fragrant tea and a small dish of "oriental mix". The sushi is terrific and I'll just mention the Ebi Avacado Maki and California Rolls as examples. They come served on a board with wasabe & slivered ginger. The seaweed salad is delightful and really enough for two. You can never err with the chef's specials. One of my personal favorites is a dish with 3 types of mushrooms and meat. The shrimp with asparagus is delectable as are all other dishes we've sampled. The Japanese lunch box dinners are also special!! This restaurant has an extensive menu and can offer prices to suit all pocketbooks. less
