I went there once for lunch, and by reading the other reviews...perhaps i was there on an off day. i found the buffet to be lackluster, and the food i ordered was only marginally tasty. it is cheap, as mexican food tends to be, and that's good. maybe i'll give it another try, based on what i've read here, but instinct says no. less

I used to go to Tacho's when I was younger for the food, which is very high quality. Now I go to the cantina with my friends for the cazuelas, blackberry margaritas, and bahama mamas. I started going back to Tacho's for karaoke nights, Thursday through Saturday. My friends and I always have a good time, the prices are low, the value is high, and the atmosphere is very laid back. The waitstaff is very attentive. They just added a weekday lunch buffet, too. They have a large parking lot and they're on a major bus line. It's basically just a great place to hang out. less
