Chef Hilson leads the excellent kitchen staff in delightful presentations of Mediterranean cuisine. A constantly changing menu brings new eating adventures on almost every visit. Fairly short, but excellent, wine list of unique wines of the world also changes frequently. Rather nice cocktail lounge that is unbearably noisy on weekends - but fortunately the cacaphony does not intrude on the dining room. This is the BEST place in the valley for special dining with professional service in every respect. less

T. Cook’s is quite easily the best restaurant in Phoenix. Located in the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, T. Cook’s Executive Chef Derek Morgan is a treat. His knowledge of food and wine pairing is impeccable and his unique touches make the most hardened food critic take notice. <br> The romantic setting will set the stage for an experience not found at some of the more exclusive, better-known restaurants in town. The staff is gracious and warm; attending to every detail of their guests. They even have a full time Director of Romance, Paul Xanthopoulos. <br> Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, this restaurant will seal any business deal and turn any suitors thoughts, lightly to love. The wine list is extensive and the sommelier is quite knowledgeable. <br> My choice: Jumbo lump crab cake with lemon thyme butter and micro greens, Pear and organic green salad with spiced pecans and Maytag bleu cheese, Seared duck breast with butternut squash risotto and Swiss chard. <br> My favorite for romance and special occasions. less
