I stopped by on a recent trip to Houston, and as and update, T-Bone Tom's has only gotten better. There is the backyard which is open in the late afternoons and has almost nightoly entertainment. The dining room seemed a little bigger than my last trip, and was, as usual, packed for lunch, but there was not a long wait. Steaks, burgers, steak fiangers, catfish. I had the Chicken Friend Steak which was just about right-sized for lunch and had an excellant cram gravy. My companion had the friend catfish special and could not possible finish toe portion served - and it was excellant. If you are in the NASA/Clear Lake area, this is a MUST! less

This place is pretty much a local instituion on steakhouse dining. I agee with the other reviewer. If you want to do pretentious dining go to the boardwalk restaurants down the road. But for no nonsense eating check this place out. It's places ... more

But for no nonsense eating check this place out. It's places like this that makes Texas a great place to eat out. less
