This is one of the very best Japanese restaurants in the Dallas metroplex. There is a trained shushi chef here and the sushi and sashimi are absolutely fresh , as they should be. The food is pricey but worth it. There is also excellent Sake available here. Try it cold in the summer. It's great. This is a small restaurant and stays very busy. You may have to wait quite a while during peak times. Lunch is good here but you had better be at the door right at 11:30 AM to get there before it fills up. The staff is slightly rude at lunch time and although the front door is unlocked, they generally ignore everyone that comes in until the clock reaches 11:30 AM. Everyone that comes early just kinds of stands there in the doorway until the staff is ready. If you like authentic Japanese food, this is the place to go. less

This is by far the best sushi/sashimi restaurant in the area. Everything is consistently fresh. Toro, is readily available! Try the uni, sweet shrimp, squid, sea eel, yellow-tail, hand-rolls, etc. etc....The cooked items that I've tasted is also very good. Try the nabayaki udon, chawon mushi, zaru soba, asparagus/beef appetizer, pork-chop/tempura with rice. It's open for lunch with set menus available between $6-9. The decor is beautifully simple & tasteful. Great use of wall-space. It's one of the best of it's kind anywhere!! less
