I did the classic lunch buffet. The chicken masala was very blah, with tiny chunks of chicken but the tandoori chicken was GREAT. They also had lamb/spinch curry (I can't recall the Indian name) which a middle aged Indian couple seemed very pleased to find. Good quality nan, too, so for the price of $5.99 I found this place to be a winner. It is a tiny restaurant in a small strip mall on Newell, behind Macys (women's store). Check it out for a inexpensive, reasonable quality lunch. I'll try dinner sometime soon. less

This new Indian restaurant in Walnut Creek was a pleasant surprise. I have only had the buffet, but the $5.95 all you can eat buffet was very good. The dishes were savory and just a bit spicy. I still like Sargam better, but this is close, and quite a bit cheaper. Well worth the cost. less
