steak n shake rocks. Love the burgers and shakes are out of this
world. I thought it was very good, looks like they have remodeled
the building since some of these reviews were posted. Very good!

Prices are strangely high. Service has a little lacking. Good
food, if you like it greasy. Nice place for friends to catch an
evening supper.

The burgers always seem burned but the shakes are excellent.
The prices are outragous! It has the old steak house feel but the
burgers need to be thicker & not burned.

Just a typical burger joint. Nothing special unless you like
the old car-hop type fast food places, but back then the burgers
seemed to be made with real fresh ground beef and they were thick
and homemade, not the minutely thin frozen patties that ...

"Famous for our steak burgers"
Well, I'm more impressed with their cheese fries and shakes but
a really nice place to eat - lots of older folks :) Lots of lacations
too.
