nice place we frequent often after work for drinks and appetizers. A few days ago we took a co worker there for her birthday and the staff did such a good job singing happy birthday to her! She was thrilled! The frozen mudslides here are good! The nachos they serve are multi colored and taste great! They also have a clown there for a few hours in the evening to entertain the kids! less

st. johns athletic club/rest. excellent neighborhood club and rest. pooltables on bar side. food is of excellent quality, huge portions and very inexpensive.(great for family dining) featuring various seafoods (seafood platter overflows in the plate) various ethnic and american foods. steaks, porkchops, ham, and chicken dinners that include soups, salads and rolls. did i mention very inexpensive? st. johns is not luxurious looking inside or out but after dining there you would think you have just eaten a five star meal. they also feature a childrens menu that includes your basic hamburger, hotdog, spaghetti and meatball, and chicken dinner etc. also if there is something you don't see on the menu JUST ASK INEZ !!! (Inez DeCosta is mrs. everything when it comes to running the kitchen at st. johns and takes much pride in her foods) she has been mentioned several times by fall river's very own famous chef emeril legasse on his televised cooking shows. st. johns athletic club is a very good bargain for a large family with big appetites or for just that one person who wants just a sandwich. DEFINITELY A 5 STAR dining experience for the the quantity and quality of foods. less
