My wife and I consider Spiga one of our favorite Edmonton restaurants, and have to admit, the location is a powerful draw. The historical mansion the restauarant occupies is divided into many smaller rooms--upstairs and down--and offers nicely appointed patio dingin on two floors. It's a beautiful place to relax over a fine meal, a cappuccino and (according to the staff) the best Tiramisu in town. The staff are frindly and formal without being stiff, and the chef works hard to keep seasonal variety in the primarily Italian menu. <br> I personally enjoy having the staff compete with the nearby "Manor Cafe'--another fine mansion turned restaurant, and they never fail to deliver their very best shot at keeping up with the neighbors! <br> If you like fine Italian dining in a warm and intimate atmosphere, Spiga will not disappoint. less

La Spiga is not your average pasta house. It is located inside an old mansion, the decor is wonderful. A fireplace and books still on the built in book cases. The staff are very friendly and they know their stuff. The food is so wonderful. The presentation of it matches the taste. I highly recommend La Spiga for anyone willing to spend a little more to get a lot more. less
