I was at the Spanish pavillion in a recommendation from a friend. Im a spanish national with a critique for food, especially since I very often dine outside. As with many communities the spanish community always recommends the best restaurants to eat outside of our country. THe food was delicious especially the crepe with crab meat. I also had the chicken in garlic sauce. (Delicious) The owners grandson (Michael) was a pleasure, including the various waiters that ensured proper service. The only down side to the locale it`s the 1970`s apperance. Nevertheless the food makes and service makes up the difference. In overall most spanish restaurants need updating, especially the ones that resemble the spanish original cousine. less

The food here is average at best. The owners are not accomodating at all. They believe that their food is excellent and do not take negative comments well. Just about the only good plate is the Shrimp in Wine Sauce. Although the price sounds reasonable, the portions are small and not comparable to portions that you would get at similar restaurants in the area. The worst thing, however, is the lack of customer service displayed by the owners. The waiters, however, are fine. less

When we are in the mood for spanish food this is where we go. Youu can start with either clams casino or portobella in a wonderful garlic sauce or shrimp in garlic sauce, or you can just have the complimentary salad, which is ok, or you can have their delicious escarole soup. As an entree I would recommend either the garlic chicken or the shrimp in white wine sauce, they are both superb. Make sure you also order a side of spanish potatoes baked well done, they are crisp. Then to top it all off tartuffo for dessert. The ambience here is lackluster, make sure you arive early or you will wait. There is also an ongoing crowd there due to the seemingly new arts center. The staff here is very accomodatinf ang the owners are a wonderfuly family. Buen Appetito! less
