Overall, Columbus is gastronomically challenged, making Smith's Row this finest restaurant in town. I rate it a 5 for Columbus but it would probably only garner a 3 to 4 someplace with abundant competition. They have a very wonderful and reasonable duck breast, and they do serve Guiness, but alas not on draught. A cozy and unpretentious setting, fine for a private evening out. less

Very nice restaurant, nice older building, good atmosphere. The food and service are excellent. The dinner prices are considerably higher than lunch - this is probably the best lunch value in all of Columbus. Lunch prices are comparable to, if not cheaper than, the chains (Applebee's, Red Lobster, et. al.) but you don't have to wait for a seat usually. The only drawback to doing lunch there is the terrible parking situation downtown during the day. But it's worth walking a few blocks to have lunch there. It's a very nice dining experience regardless of when you go. less
