As an aviator who enjoys dining at airports with a view, SkyTop Restaurant at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY (KHPN), is a destination well worth landing into. Although you need not fly in, or be a ticket holder of a seat on an air carrier to enjoy the food and view, SkyTop is easily accessable via ground transportation. The dining-room decor is simple, open, and contemporary. Clean, informal, and relaxed... was my first impression upon walking in. In addition to the generously portioned, well prepared meals that speak for themselves... the service and attention is timely and prompt. I was impressed with the short time lapse between ordering and eating! The rolls were soft, warm, and fresh. Thinking about them now, just makes my mouth water. With these tasty additions, I had the salmon steak with mixed vegetables and wild rice. Expecting a small thinly sliced portion... the steak was 4.5" x 5.5" x 1", and lightly seasoned. Oh, that's good eatin'. If you love airplanes and great food... come here. I believe you'll like it! less
